MAELEZO YA KITABU
This is a long letter from a father to his daughters. He is a genuinely grateful man who is
delighted that he was blessed to be a father to three amazing daughters. They fill his home with
boundless joy and immense laughter. He remembers vividly the first time he laid eyes on each of
them, that incomparable feeling of becoming a dad to beautiful little human beings. Nothing can
ever top it.
It is funny that he thought he was well prepared for fatherhood, but it turned out that nothing can
prepare anyone for that role. He had to figure out most things on his own, and honestly, he is still
figuring it out. His parents did their best to give him the best in life. They raised him right; he is
grateful for their efforts. Now, it is his turn to do the same to his daughters. He is prepared to
move mountains so that they can get the best in life. If he fails to tell them things they are
supposed to know at the right time, he hopes this letter will guide them whenever they need
guidance.
This is a letter to a girl child intended to serve as guidance, advice, and experience sharing. It’s
fatherly advice from a father to his daughters that will also challenge their mothers, fathers, and
society on how to treat the girl child.
