Science for Primary Schools, Pupil’s Books & Teachers’ Guides from E & D Vision Publishing is a series of science books from Standard One to Standard Seven. The series focus on the skills and goals set out in the New Science Syllabus for Primary Schools in Tanzania, released by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training in 2005. The New Science Syllabus puts the child at the centre of learning as an active participant in the learning and teaching process. Therefore, the participatory methods proposed include experiments, brainstorm, investigation, songs and role play. These methods have been used throughout the E & D Publishing Science Book Series.
